Repair Café biedt een ontmoetingsplaats voor burgers die vastbesloten zijn hun kapotte spullen een nieuw leven in te blazen. In deze co-creatieve workshop krijg je allerlei tips and tricks om de levensduur van jouw apparaat te verlengen. Je doet kennis op waar je een leven lang profijt van zult hebben. Ook leer je hoe je je eigen spullen kunt herstellen met de hulp en het gereedschap van vrijwillige reparateurs. Soms met succes, soms zonder succes!

Le Repair Café est un lieu de rencontre pour des citoyen·nes déterminé·s à offrir une nouvelle vie à leurs objets cassés. Dans cet atelier co-créatif, vous obtiendrez toutes sortes de conseils et d’astuces pour prolonger la durée de vie de votre appareil. Vous apprendrez non seulement à réparer vos propres appareils avec l’assistance et les outils de réparateurs bénévoles – parfois avec succès, parfois sans –, mais vous acquerrez aussi des connaissances qui vous seront utiles tout au long de votre vie.

Repair Café is a place where those who are determined to repair their broken or worn objects can meet. This co-creative workshop will give you plenty of tips and tricks to enhance the life span of your beloved appliances. You’ll learn things that will benefit you for a lifetime. You’ll also learn to repair your own appliances with a helping hand and the necessary tools from volunteer handymen and -women. You might be successful, or you might not – but it’s worth a try!
